Travel by airplane is the fastest mode of transportation but still due to its various inconveniences its popularity is decreasing day by day. It has become expensive; it is even getting crowded, overbooked, lost luggage problems, frustrating delays, artificial meals served and those impounding seats. Since traveling has become an integral part of our life all we need is to have a comfortable flight while going on our business work, vacation with friends and family. Travel by air is still preferred because of its being the fastest mode of transport.

So we should follow some tips while traveling by plane so that we make our travel nice and comfortable and it does not become nerve wrecking.

  • First and the foremost thing is that you should get the seats as fast as you can. Check-in early and ask the check-in agent to give you the comfortable seats so that you may not have to be sandwiched between the two already sitting persons.
  • Another important tip is to get the first class or priority tags for your luggage as they get handled first and kept easily in the baggage area. Even if you travel in the economy or coach class then too you can get the first class tag if you ask for it. Otherwise you still can make it on your own by writing “priority” on the laminated card. It is because of this that your luggage will be given the priority and you can easily rush to your hotels.
  • The passengers should take care of themselves by avoiding tea, coffee or other beverages in order to be safe. If the travelers suffer from the other respiration and heart problems they should consult their doctors for the advices and medications and can also take the help of flight attendants. They should drink lots of water to prevent themselves from dehydration.
  • You should be patient while traveling by air and even take solid and healthy meal before you travel to prevent the fear overcoming you as the flight takes off. The food will help to prevent the acidity developed because of air fear. It is also recommended that you should not listen to that scary news of air crash as it will lower down your courage and can make you sick.
  • While flying the other option is to keep you busy. You should better buy some interesting books and novels to easily pass your time reading and not fearing or have a conversation with your neighboring passengers.
  • Sitting most of the time can be very annoying so you should go and stretch your legs by walking in the cabin.
  • Another option is to sleep while traveling by air as this will make your trip go faster and enjoyable and relaxed.
  • Bring an extra layer of clothes which you can remove if there is a warm temperature inside the cabin or can put them on if you feel cold. This is just to avoid the changing temperature in the cabin.
