Florida is one of the nicest places to be during your holidays to enjoy the serene beauty and magnificent beaches, crystal clear water, innumerous outdoor activities, theme parks and beautiful rental vacation homes, etc. Florida is called as the Sunshine State but it really becomes a trouble for the vacationers on the beach in the rainstorm. So even if it is the bad weather, you can experience this wonderful place in number of ways.
Let us discuss how to survive a rainy Florida vacation.
- There are many attractions in North Florida such as indoor historical sites and museums to visit. If you get stuck in a rainy storm on the beaches of Jax Beach, Amelia Island, or Ponte Vedra, then check out the well known Museum of Science and History. In this museum you will find wide variety of attractions such as Whales, Dolphins & Manatees of North East Florida, Kidspace, the Prehistoric Park, and the Universe of Science.
- While golfing if you get struck in rain, then you can go to enjoy World Golf Village, home to the World Golf Hall of Fame where exhibits are on display and the WGV is home to an IMAX Theatre; thus a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

- The Florida International Museum is also worth visiting where you will find the fresh and exciting rotating exhibits such as Sacred Treasures of the Bible, Hubble Space Telescope, etc.
- The Salvador Dali Museum is home to world’s most comprehensive collection of 2,000 original oils, watercolors, drawings, graphics, sculptures, and photographs of a Spanish artist.
- For the kids’ and adults’ fun and amusement, Great Explorations, the Hands on Museum displays various rotating exhibits.
