Ever thought of viewing the attractions of U.S. on a road trip? Ever thought of travelling by the country side and exploring the major destinations of U.S? Let me tell you that a road trip is one of the most exhilarating and romantic ways to travel across U.S. Think of traveling in a car or bike, listening to loud music, watching the beautiful country-side, and zooming past through the roads! The whole idea of it seems to be so fresh and raw!

Planning a road trip to U.S is not that easy. It requires careful consideration and preparation! There are so many wonderful cities which you can explore such as Las Vegas, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Moab and many more. However, you cannot see all these places at once if you don’t have a charted out plan or enough time. List out whatever places you want to visit! Time is one the most important factors that will determine whether your trip was alright or rocking! Try planning your trip at a time when you can get a chance to see the special events or festivals along the way.

Obviously, you will need a map or purchase a software program for planning your route accordingly. You can also consider joining the American Automobile Association (AAA) for obtaining tour books (as they are valuable resources for planning a cross-country trip). You can also think of joining clubs such as AAA and AARP that provide lodging and other attractive discounts at several destinations across U.S. It is advisable to make lodging reservations before you start for the trip so that you have a specific place to sleep every night.

Before setting out on your journey, make sure that your car tank is full and you have spare parts or tools for repairing, in case of an emergency. Always be aware of the various problems that may arise on the trip. Ensure that you carry enough food, water and clothes for the trip. It is good to purchase nutritious trip food; so that you can minimize the intake of junk food while travelling (junk food may result in dizziness or uneasiness).

It is always good to leave early (in the morning) for the trip with a tank full of gas. Make sure that you don’t drive for more than 600 miles - or 10 hours - per day. Also use this formula when scheduling lodging stops.

I hope that you like the above suggestion for your road trip. Believe me, a U.S. road trip will be one of the most refreshing and enriching experiences of your lifetime! Have fun on the trip and enjoy to the maximum!
